Low Red Oak Table

CA$695.00

This wee little short table puts red oak on display. The legs and aprons are rift and quarter sawn for a quieter appearance, while the tabletop puts the wild grain on show through book-matched boards. The legs use a traditional taper and the aprons are inset 1/8th of an inch for a bit of visual interest.

I used wooden buttons to attach the top to the base, which will allow for seasonal movement of the oak. The table was given a hand-rubbed finish of tung oil and polyurethane.
